Happy happy birthday, my DEAR buddy!
Again, I'm really really thankful to your parents for giving birth to you and for raising you well, I'm thankful to God for having him arranged such wonderful fate for us to meet.
And of course, I'm eternally grateful to you for having the patience to stay friends with someone like me.
Even if we're meeting not so often anymore, it doesn't mean that our friendship is fading.
This bond and friendship we have is not shallow for us to fall into misunderstandings and for us to lit fire for fights. I don't believe a border like that exists between us anymore.
It truly is gratifying to have you as my best friend. I'm truly glad that we're not only friends just because we spend time with each other or that we have similarities or whatsoever, and especially not just because the society says so,
but because, with each other, we could understand even the most trivial things, we could tolerate even the most hurtful things and still find happiness and forgiveness. If not for you, I don't think I could be this open minded and big hearted.
I have learned a lot from you, no words exist to define my gratitude and no actions can reciprocate what you have done for me.
I know you'll laugh it off thinking that you did not do anything that great for me to be this thankful, but you know, its not always about giving off great efforts, nor about feeding me with big promising words, it doesn't take anything that grand for me to appreciate you..
Those times that you simply stood by my side, no matter how ridiculous I have been. Those times that you simply listened to my whines no matter how unreasonable it have been. Just the fact that you never turned your back at me.. Those were grand enough for me to be eternally grateful.
I'm aware that this past few months have been a lot stressful for you, I'm sorry that I couldn't do anything, and that I could only give you this abstract words.. But just to let you know, I mean every word of this. These are just not even a quarter of what I want to say, but fine, I'll stop, or else it might take me forever.
